GRESB results of a.s.r. real assets confirm progress towards long-term ESG objectives

ASR Dutch Green Energy Fund I and ASR Dutch Mobility Office Fund both ranked as peer group leaders

The real estate and infrastructure funds managed by a.s.r. real assets have once again delivered strong results in the international GRESB benchmark. ASR Dutch Green Energy Fund I achieved the maximum score of 100 points, securing first place in its ranking. The ASR Dutch Mobility Office Fund also recorded a significant improvement and reached the top position within its peer group. These results confirm a.s.r. real assets’ long-term ESG strategy and its focus on delivering measurable sustainability outcomes.

Strong results across both real estate and infrastructure
Within the real estate portfolio, the ASR Dutch Mobility Office Fund achieved a score of 95.1 points, earning first place in the Offices Netherlands peer group. In only its second year of participation, ASR Dutch Green Energy Fund I delivered an exceptional performance by achieving the maximum score of 100 points. The fund is therefore ranked among the leading international sustainable infrastructure funds.

Retail, Science Park and Residential Funds once again awarded five stars
The ASR Dutch Prime Retail Fund achieved 91.5 points, while the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund recorded 94.0 points. Both funds retained their five-star ratings. The ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund achieved 91.5 points. These real estate funds once again performed comfortably above the global benchmark average of 80.9.

Continuing the course towards Paris Proof
In recent years, a.s.r. real assets has invested substantially in enhancing ESG processes, documentation, data quality and data coverage. Within the real estate portfolio, this has included further implementation of Paris Proof roadmaps and continuous improvements to energy, carbon, water and waste data. The higher scores achieved within the infrastructure portfolio are partly the result of the further embedding of ESG processes and improved documentation of policies, data and procedures. Thanks to this consistent approach, the funds remain well positioned to achieve their long-term sustainability objectives.

Dick Gort, CEO of a.s.r. real assets: "The GRESB results demonstrate that we are successfully delivering on the strategy we put in place several years ago. In a benchmark where the differences between funds are becoming increasingly small, our funds continue to rank among the best performers in their respective categories. The outstanding score of 100 points achieved by ASR Dutch Green Energy Fund I and the first-place ranking of ASR Dutch Mobility Office Fund within its peer group are excellent examples of this."

About GRESB
GRESB is the world's leading benchmark for assessing the sustainability performance of real estate and infrastructure funds. The assessment consists of a management component, which evaluates governance, policies and processes, and a performance component, which measures actual ESG performance across areas including energy consumption, carbon emissions, water use and waste management.
